A slew of changes has been implemented by the Indian Government in the process of buying domestic LPG cylinders from Indane. It all started with linking your Aadhaar, bank account, getting the subsidy credited in your bank account and paying online. You can do the following steps and end up saving a little more. The government does everything it could to make our country go cashless and go digital. You get a flat incentive discount of ₹5 for making the payment online.
There’s a catch here. Based on the mode of payment you choose, you may end by paying convenience fee with GST being charged on top of that. That way you end up spending more than the discount you receive.

If your mode of payment is a debit card, then no convenience fee and hence no GST is being charged. If possible, try and get a RuPay debit card which is homegrown. A RuPay card translates to better benefits to the consumer, bank and the country. Jai Hind.
